There are so many things you can make using Chickpeas flour including bhajia. Decided to try somthing different today, Pancakes using Chickpeas four and the result was amazing. The pancake were so delicious , you can eat the pancake with yogurt, or pickles etc.

  • 1 cup chickpea flour (gram flour)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 spring onions/or 1/2 normal Onion
  • 1/2 chili (if you want spice)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (I used Organic unsalted Butter)


  • 1 bell pepper
  • any vergitable you want to add


  1. Mix in a bowl or food processor the flour, water, turmeric, salt, pepper and chili flakes. Leave it to settle for a few minutes while you heat up the a tbsp of oil or butter in a non-stick pan. Remember the batter needs to look very runny!

  2. Slice the veggies finely and add them to the mixture.

  3. Add oil on the pan and make sure the bottom of the pan is coated well in oil (just like when frying an egg).

  4. Add about a ladle of the mixture and veggies when the pan is hot - a medium heat should be just right.

  5. Cook for about 3 minutes - the mixture will quickly start to firm

  6. Use a large spatula to help you flip the pancakes, adding more oil underneath if necessary.

Spinach And Chorizo Red Pesto Penne, a healthy pasta dish with spinach is very simple and easy to make, you can substitute Chorizo with Chicken pieces , sausage, etc.

Spinach Chorizo red Pesto Fusilli4


  • 350g (1.5 cups) Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • A pack of Spinach 
  • 2 tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil 1 Scotch bonnet or chilli flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 500g (5 cups) dried Fusilli Pasta or any pasta of your Choice
  • 200g (2 cups) chorizo sausage, chopped into small chunks
  • Red Pesto 


Pesto ingridient 

  • 100g of Pine Nutes
  • 250g of Sun-driend tomatoes with olive oil
  • Fresh Basal
  • 2 x Garlic



  1. Cook Pasta according to the instructions on the packet (usually 10-12 minutes) until the pasta is ‘al dente’ (still slightly firm).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add the garlic, fry for 1 minute.  
  3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the chorizo and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the spinach and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  6. Once pasta is cooked drained, but leave some water in the pasta. Return the pasta to the saucepan along with the water.
  7. Add the red pesto to the cooked pasta and stir through while heating gently.
  8. Add the spinach, tomatoes and chorizo to the pasta and mix well to combine.
  9. Serve immediately.

  • Add all Pesto ingridient in food processor

Beef & Sausage Lasagne Recipe


This is great and Authentic recipe! I must admit it takes a bit of more work and ingredients, but well worth it


  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 16 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bag of Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 x  sausages
  • 3/4 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 2  cans tomato paste
  • 2 cans canned tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 3 sticks of celery 
  • Mix Veg


  1. Grill sausage till sligtly brown and slices it to your liking
  2. Brown ground beef,  onion and garlic, then add sliced sausages, mixed veg, and sliced celery.
  3. Add salt, pepper, parsley, oregano, basil, chopped tomatoes with juice, and tomato paste; stirring until well mixed.
  4. Cover and simmer 1 hour  dont let it get too dry.
  5. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  6.  In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  7. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  8. To assemble, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce. Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with a third of mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
  9. Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil: to prevent sticking, either spray foil with cooking spray, or make sure the foil does not touch the cheese.
  10. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake an additional 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
  11. 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Sweet Dinner Roll recipe

I made these Sweet Dinner Rolls  two days ago, they are amazing and could not get enough of them. 


  • 1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened


Mix water and yeast, then add  milk, egg, 1/3 cup butter, sugar, salt, flour  in the pan of the bread machine. Select Dough/Knead and First Rise Cycle.

Once done, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide dough in half. Roll each half into a 12 inch circle, spread 1/4 cup softened butter over entire round. Cut each circle into 8 wedges.


Roll wedges starting at wide end; roll gently but tightly. Place point side down on ungreased cookie sheet.


Cover with clean kitchen towel and put in a warm place, let rise 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden.
