[Rumour] HTC Ville Review

HTC Ville is yet another Android smartphone that joins the exciting whispers coming from HTC in 2012. Although dual core rather than quad, HTC Ville is still a highly anticipated newcomer, with an initial estimated UK release date of April. The HTC Ville is said to be and Android 4.0 smartphone (packing high-end device that could set it up as a challenger to the first Android Ice Cream toting Samsung Galaxy Nexus) with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel camera.

HTC Ville is rumours to be powered with 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon Series 4 processor, which is more faster than the current Galaxy Nexus smartphone and 1080p video capture, HTC Sense4.0, Beats Audio, HSPA+ and a 1650mAh battery.

This handset will run on the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. HTC Ville is rumored to be the company’s thinnest smartphone, featuring a metal unibody design, with a thickness of just 8.49mm. With quick comparison, the iPhone 4/4S is 9.3mm thick, while the Galaxy S II bulges to 9.91mm at the bottom after enjoying a svelte 8.49mm profile for the majority of its length, although the crown for the thinest device still goes to Motorola RAZR.

The device is reportedly to have a  use of a touch-screen 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960x540. Smartphone manufactured by HTC also supports HD video with high resolution, or 720p. HTC Ville is also the company’s first device which run on the Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon S4 processor. The Beats- and Sense 4.0-infused Ville will supposedly begin shipping next April after a Mobile World Congress debut in mid-February.
