Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer will be different from the previous series

Sledgehammer Games has said is going to be adding the most amount of ‘new’ things to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer than you’ve seen in the series for a long time.

Speaking to  Metro Sledgehammer co-founder Glen Schofield said: "We'll have our own style. The exoskeletons are definitely in there and that's the core of the game."

Also studio co-founder Michael Condrey said: "Our multiplayer has what I'm going to call the biggest set of new, as you call it, cool gear that you've seen in a long time.

"It's a big step forward, from three years in development we've been able to innovate across the game. Everything you saw today... just imagine what that's going to mean for multiplayer. You're going to find that new is what it's all about."

Condrey told Forbes: "On the highest level, the Advanced soldier which our E3 demo showcased is the Advanced soldier you'll see in multiplayer."

This first-person shooter video game is set in 2054, most developed countries including the United States have suffered attacks on their military infrastructures around the world. Mitchell (Troy Baker), a former U.S. Marine private, joins Jonathan Irons (Kevin Spacey), the CEO and founder of Atlas, the largest private military company with the most advanced technologies in the world, composing clandestine operations around the world. Irons begins his war with America over his beliefs that the U.S. has failed numerous attempts to install democracies all over the world for over a century, and to change the global balance of powers.

The Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will be released on November 4 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.
